A Gray Hair
By admin ~ October 29th, 2008. Filed under: Uncategorized.
Yesterday as I was getting my haircut, which was way overdue as usual, and my great friend/stylist gasped. For a second I thought she had accidentaly cut a big hunk out of my hair. But alas, it was a gray hair. Why does this not surprise me? I’m surprised I don’t have more. This fun little C&S adventure has been a wild ride.
I have quite a few fun things to tell you about! First, we have two more stores that are proudly selling Cheeky & Swank. An absolute darling boutique on Ogden’s Historic 25th Street (in Utah) called Little Cherry Blossom. Also, the Logan Regional Hospital Giftshop called Gifts ‘N Things in Logan, Utah. They have a really darling selection of fun, gifty things. You don’t have to be visiting anyone at the hospital to have an excuse to visit this treasure trove.
Second, we are so proud to be a part of a fantastic new site. Createdbymom.com. It’s a site where everything is created by us moms. So if you want to support a hard working mom, check this out. (The prices are different on their site because it includes shipping, just in case you were curious.) Quinn, the mastermind behind this whole thing is an absolute doll and has been out marketing the site like crazy. Way to go Quinn!
Third, I met some really, and I mean really, fun ladies at the Sweet Tweet Boutique. One was my neighbor, Stampin’ Up Rep. Jane Lee. She is hilarious! (And absolutely darling!) I could have spent the whole day with her, and the next, and the next. If you live in the Saratoga Springs/Herriman, Utah area you’ve gotta get to know her. She does monthly parties where you can use all the Stampin’ Up stuff and scrapbook to your hearts desire. If I lived closer, I’d be there in a heartbeat. I’m so blessed to have met her.
Another fab lady that I met was Patrice Wright. We connected right away and, thank her dear heart, helped me carry my two Ikea display bookcases out of the house, across the street and up onto a trailer. Wow! I’m so touched by her kindness. She is a kindred “Twilight” fan and you’ve got to check out her Etsy site. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5904016
I can’t say too much on this blog about Patrice’s site because my sweet niece (who is one of the biggest Twilight fans I know) may read this. Let’s just say….she has a birthday coming up and I’m way excited for a special gift that Patrice is making just for me….okay, not for me, but for my niece. I’m very tempted to keep it for myself.
Enough rambling from me, hope you enjoy seeing into the crazy world of me and my baby, Cheeky & Swank.

OH MAN! I feel so awesome now! You are totally sweet and I’m so glad I was “stuffed” in the basement because you were so cool to be “boothed” next to.
All your stuff was so awesome and I can only hope that one day I will have as much talent as you.
