Spending quality time with your kids doesn’t need to become a huge production. Sometimes we feel that we have to create something “Huge” and “Magical” to leave an impression on our kids.
Genny Heikka of MyCup2Yours.com wrote a great article for MothersClick.com.
In her article titled “Creating Quality Time by Ignoring the Clock” she shares…
“In the midst of ordinary things, we had an extraordinary time together. And I was reminded that I don’t have to make grand plans to create special memories with my kids. I just need to focus on them. And slow down.”
How true that is and how easy it is for us to forget and get sucked into our “to do” lists.
Slow down, take some time and just be “in the moment” with your kids today. I am.
